Cooking happening for the day of the death ofrenda. 
At the Gerrit Rietveld Academie Pavilion.

Ofrenda, was a 5 day living offering for the day of the death, a Mexican celebration that focuses on remembering and honoring people that have passed away. Participants were invited to bring objects that represent people or important things in their lives. Slowly, the altar grew by the collective memory, as a reflection of what remains, because of meaning and honoring. 
The altar was acomopanied by a pan de muerto (bread of the death) workshop. Where the act of coming together to cook and chat, was seeing as an act of holding memory and passing heritage.
