Comal at Four Sibilings

Cooking activation using the Comal, a clay cooking utensil from Mexico. Vegetables and weed pickles from the Four Sibilings garden.
An invitation from the Four Sibilings Collective, to cook with vegetables and weeds from the garden, led Clara to follow the tradition of pickling, as a way to preserve the garden. Using the Comal, a symbol of Mexican cooking, which Clara has used in her work before, she invited people to join in a conversation of working with the soil to pick and cook food. In a way, to imagine the worlds that surround us, entering our own world that is our body, and what can this exchanges bring to the conversation, and what new stories can be told.
